This is the original, official full size tournament Roll-A-Court. Used for many years in tournaments across Canada, the US and Europe.

Recommended for indoor use, it can be used outdoors. No assembly required - simply roll out and play. When finished simply sweep the surface and roll up - easily stored for your next game.

Made of heavy duty vinyl, the official Roll-A-Court measures a full 40' long x 6' wide. Silicone spray is not included with the court and not recommended. Beads are needed but only use plastic beads SPB-5 (not glass beads) and ensure no one walks on the court. Starter bag of plastic beads (also known as SPEED Beads) are shipped with the court. (Ensure all beads are thoroughly swept up after play). Read about BEAD SAFETY.

For best play the official Arco brand "bevelled" discs OTD-B are strongly recommended (see below)*.

This court is ideal where there is a multi-use facility. It is also highly recommended for tournaments, especially when built-in courts are not available. The Canadian Shuffleboard Association has used these courts for tournaments throughout Canada, in gyms, arenas and community centres.

Shuffleboard can be set up and played during its allotted time and when finished the floor can be cleared within 5 minutes - ready to use for the next scheduled event. (See Care of Roll-A-Court below).

This Official ROLL-A-COURT is a fast professional playing surface made from a extremely durable vinyl/rubber material colored Slate with white lines. It can be rolled out on any flat surface (including carpet) in a matter of minutes. Although it was designed for indoor use, it can also be used outdoors.

The ROLL-A-COURT is shipped pre-waxed with 2 coats of Nella Sealer and is ready for immediate use. The only maintenance is an occasional coat of sealer-wax to protect the surface. (1/5 gallon of Nella Seal typically to recoat)

ROLL-A-COURTS have been used in the International Shuffleboard Association World Championship Tournament and the USA Senior Olympics.

* The regular Pro ARCO discs (OTD) will not work well on the roll out courts because they tend to "push" the beads out of the way. The special discs (OTD-B), also ARCO brand, are specially bevelled, so that they glide over the beads properly.

CARE OF ROLL-A-COURT

The Roll-A-Court is made of an extremely flexible Vinyl/Rubber composition and is custom colored and embossed. The thickness is less than 1/8 inch. Size is 6’ x 40’ and the lines are painted white.

One thing you must be careful of: When rolling court on core leave some core at each end and line up core with dead line on court so it is straight across.

Start to roll and make sure corners are tucked in properly or they will fold over.

Proceed to roll to other end, and if court is not even stand on end that has core showing, hold onto loose end, let some air get in and court will slide to floor. Then tighten and tape middle and each end with duct tape.

Use plastic beads sparingly, and save by collecting and running through a window screen to remove dirt and re-use. Glass beads of a good quality can be used (not recommended), but may require sealer applied more often as it contains some broken glass, and you must ensure that the sealer does not wear off or the surface will wear/cut and shorten life of the court.

Depending on use, courts must have a thin coat of Nella-Seal applied to protect the surface. This may be required yearly but it depends on use. Sealer is applied by shaking bottle to put a puddle on court, then spreading out with an applicator. Drying time is 4 hours to roll up and 24 hours before use.

If the Roll-A-Court is cared for properly you can expect many years of enjoyment.
